Devlog #1 – The Factory Powers On
Factron has officially begun.
This is the first devlog for my new solo-developed clicker game, built around one idea:
You can click for hours — and it always feels good.
No distractions. No fluff. Just pure progression.
Whether you're casually clicking or in full grind mode, Factron is made to keep you in the zone.
What Is Factron?
Factron is a clicker game where you build a powerful industrial empire by simply... clicking.
You generate money with each click.
You unlock upgrades.
You climb higher.
Then, you reset everything for stronger bonuses — and start over, faster than ever.
It’s that simple. And that addicting.
There are no visuals yet, but the backend systems are up and running. The loop works. And it's already hard to stop playing.
What’s Already In:

Clicking System: Infinite clicking, no limits, no cooldowns.

Money: Every click generates currency used for upgrades.

Shop System: Buy upgrades to make each click stronger.

Research Points: Unlock deeper progression layers.

Resources (Tally Only): Resources are tracked behind the scenes for future mechanics.

Prestige System: Reset your progress to gain permanent boosts.

Endless Play: The more you click, the more powerful you become. There's no hard cap — only momentum.
What's Next:

Visible Resource Counter: Right now, resources exist, but they aren’t shown. That’s changing.

Prestige Improvements: Make resets feel more rewarding and addictive.

Balancing the Early Game: Fast starts, smooth progression, no grind walls.

Very Basic UI: Just enough to see things happen as you click.
One Developer. One Game.
Factron is being built entirely by me — no team, no assets, no fluff.
Every click system, every line of logic, every future feature is handcrafted.
It's early, but already fun to test. I’ve found myself clicking far longer than I meant to — and that’s exactly the point.
